Audience: Facilities Managers, Asset Managers, BIM/Digital Practitioners, Owner‑Operators, Consultants

Course Overview

Unlock the value of your built assets through smarter, structured information. This course introduces the essential principles of information management during the operational phase, helping organisations improve maintenance, compliance, decision‑making, and long‑term asset performance. Delivered through live sessions, demonstrations, and hands‑on activities, it bridges the gap between BIM processes and real‑world FM workflows.

Key Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how structured information supports efficient asset operation

  • Apply ISO 19650‑3 principles in an operational context

  • Define clear and practical Asset Information Requirements (AIRs)

  • Develop and maintain an effective Asset Information Model (AIM)

  • Improve data quality, governance, and information workflows

  • Use digital tools (CAFM/CMMS/IWMS/BIM) to enhance asset performance
