Course Overview

This practical training course teaches construction professionals how to capture, build, and share immersive 360° virtual tours using Kuula 360. Through demonstrations and hands‑on exercises, participants learn how to use 360° imagery to support progress documentation, safety communication, inspections, and stakeholder engagement across all stages of a project.

Module 2: Capturing High‑Quality 360° Site Imagery

  • Overview of 360° cameras commonly used in construction

  • Best practices for on‑site image capture

  • Safety considerations during site photography

  • File management and preparing images for upload

 

Module 3: Building Your Kuula 360 Tour

  • Uploading panoramas and organising scenes

  • Creating navigation paths and linking rooms/areas

  • Structuring tours for clarity and ease of use

  • Editing tools, rotation control, exposure adjustments, and metadata

 

Module 4: Adding Construction Information & Annotations

  • Using hotspots, labels, markers, and notes

  • Embedding drawings, images, and external links

  • Highlighting inspections, clashes, risks, or progress points

  • Techniques for creating clear and informative tours

 

Module 5: Sharing & Collaborating with Stakeholders

  • Publishing and sharing options

  • Access controls, privacy settings, and security

  • Embedding tours into websites, reports, and BIM platforms

  • Using Kuula for remote reviews, client updates, and training

 

Module 6: Practical Exercise – Create Your Own 360° Tour

  • Participants upload sample images

  • Build a complete mini‑tour

  • Add annotations and navigation

  • Share the final tour with the group for review

 

Module 7: Integrating Kuula 360 into Digital Construction Workflows

  • Using 360° tours alongside BIM, CDEs, and project management tools

  • Applying tours for QA/QC, H&S, inductions, and weekly reporting

  • Standardising workflows for consistent capture and documentation

 

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Capture consistent 360° site imagery

  • Build and annotate professional Kuula tours

  • Share secure, interactive tours with teams and clients

  • Use 360° documentation to support construction workflows

 

Certification

Participants who complete the course will receive an Origin7 Certificate of Completion. CPD Certified.
